The main duty of my role as DOT compliance Director is to ensure that all state and federal motor vehicle regulatory requirements are met by the company. The major tasks I cover is to develop and/or maintain a driver qualification program to ensure that drivers are fully trained on hazardous material transportation and follow all regulations. Must stay up to date on all state and federal rules, regulations, and legislation in order to properly interpret them and ensure the company is always in full compliance.
