Designation: Sales Engineer (2013 to present)

Organization: Al Taneen Al Thahabi Security & Safety systems LLC Sharjah, UAE. Main role is to ensure the Excellence in Sales & Business Development of products and services of Fire system related equipment and projects by appropriate business to business meetings( B2B), Business to end customers( B2C) and clients . Communicating with consultants, civil & Construction contractors, MEP contractors and related stake holders.

Duties

Report to Sales Manager.

Evaluation of tenders & bids, Analysis of technical risk involvement.

Review of Designs, evaluations of bids and Value engineering of bids for cost savings

Act as a consultant to the clients/customers, and design products or services fit to their needs, mainly between construction companies, Oil and Gas contractors, MEP contractors, Fit Out Contractors, Factories and warehouses.

Coordinating the design and execution team, preparation of quotations.

Providing the planning input for the works as per the clients demand.

Prepare and submit RFP& RFQ to Suppliers, Sub contractors and vendors.

Timely addresses all RFIs from clients/consultants and provide the necessary information timely.

Ensuring timely collection of all receivables from contractors and clients and maintain better cash flow

Lead and control the document flows.

Coordinating with other departments.

Follow ups and reviews with clients.

Attend pre-sales client meetings and presentations with account representatives.

Determine scope and develop proposals.

Identify client requirements: (technical requirements, client infrastructure, configuration, and requirements), technical design (including solution configurations and diagrams) and planning phases of the sales cycle.

Work with Accounts, Purchasing, Engineer and Support Center groups to ensure successful delivery of solutions to customers.

Provide the implementation team with all necessary documentation for the successful completion of the project (including solution configurations and diagrams).

Provide pre-sales support for new and existing customers.

Successfully demonstrate products and solutions in front of prospects.

Work with sales to provide a response for technical RFI/RFP questions.

Participate in all scheduled sales team meetings/conference calls and sales trainings.

Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, Exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events
