PERSONAL PROFILE
Being part of the EPWP taught me how to work under pressure, from the daily indigent applications that needed to be approved or declined or reversed due to missing documents to ensuring that every ones’ payslips&attendance registers are sorted accordingly. Working with social workers also meant maintaining self-discipline and working with a lot of people. Whilst there I was also placed at the reception area meaning that I had to welcome everyone who came there for the first time allowing me to indirectly gain a bit of experience in being a receptionist and improving with my communication skills. I was able to gain cellphone etiquette as well. I made it my mission and priority to meet up to demanding deadlines {approving and disapproving of indigent applications before they expired}. It would bring me great pleasure and financial relief granted that I get this opportunity.
