MEET ILANNA: Ilanna S. Mandel is a savvy, innovative instructional designer. She brings a high degree of skill and creativity to each of her endeavors. Designed a 3-part eLearning/interactive course for the training and certification of Health Coaches. Defined the learning objectives, designed all interactivity, incorporated principles of ADDIE and Bloom’s Taxonomy, researched content, produced materials for online learning, aligned the design of the course for certification standards and incorporated all revisions and edits. Currently completing this program.

Designed a manual for leadership and skills management for a non-profit organization.

• Program Coordinator - American Liver Foundation, Los Angeles, 2006-09
Designed and delivered a series of workshops in “Social Services Leadership and Management in Working with Clients who have HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C. for a wide range of social service and healthcare professionals in LA County. Wrote a comprehensive 60-page Training Guide to harm reduction services in LA County for agencies and professional service workers.
• Instructional Designer – Multi-Agency Project, Vancouver, 2005
I worked on a three-month healthcare design project on behalf of five agencies in Vancouver: the Canadian Cancer Society, the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Epilepsy Society, the Diabetes Association, and the B.C. Cancer Agency. My role was to design an interactive eLearning program for distant learners on the benefits of being a volunteer with a healthcare agency.

Design and development of the Senior Counsellor Internship Program – development of all principles and requirements, extensive networking with 45 agencies in BC and Ontario. Produced a Training Guide to the Establishment of a Professional Counselling Practice.
