Chief Financial Officer
Report directly to the CEO overseeing the US and UK operations.
I oversee all the financial operations of the US and UK RTI Group, LLC.
Last year I headed along with the CEO a major refinance effort which has enabled the company to hire a key revenue generator and establish a plan for more.
FASTech, Inc. January 2016 – May 2017
CFO
Initially started with FASTech as a part-time financial consultant with the purpose of assuring the accounting records and systems were DCAA compliant.
After a couple months the President, Jack Lopez asked me to join the company as his CFO.
During this period, I oversaw a staff of eight.
I converted many prior non-compliant government accounting policies and instituted a ProPricer proposal pricing submission system; whereby, the company met all competitive pricing standards.
After the company lost its small business status the CEO moved on and I went to RTI Group, LLC.

For numerous companies with annual revenues ranging between $10MM to $150MM I provided operations and financial direction with full responsibility to CEOs’ for bottom-line, including long-range planning, capital raising, debt procurement/restructure and company development. Developed and executed several equity funding events for medium to large companies.

Capitalized a large medical company with $20MM in equity and debt capital and remained with the outpatient facility heading financial reporting while a full accounting staff was put in place.
HDSCORES, Inc. 2011- June 2015
Chief Financial Officer and Advisory Board
Joined the CEO as a co-founder and CFO in February 2011.
Together we brought on a highly qualified COO and CTO to fully implement software to fully report health department scores to the general public.
Assisted with the CEO a majority equity sale to Yelp.
At this point I stepped away as CFO and accepted an Advisory Board position.
PHILLIPS CORPORATION 2007- 2011
Vice President of Finance, Operations and Mergers and Acquisitions
Led the financial operations governing foreign and domestic subsidiary acquisitions.
Implemented the use of a high-level job costing system and a comprehensive reporting.
Directed the Controller and VP of Business Development while the company grew from $15M to $50M in annual revenue.
Oversaw eight accounting department employees.
Negotiated an $8 Million acquisition of an India distributor, a Republic of China facility and two US distributors.
Led the sale of a Canadian distributor.
Secured the necessary bank financing for each acquisition.
Established with the assistance of IT a superior international financial reporting system.

OT MANUFACTURING, INC. 1992 – 2007
CFO and then President
Worked with the Board of Directors in transitioning the company from a one facility small pump manufacturing plant with a gross revenue of $12 M to a multi-state Ethanol blending pump manufacturer; whereby, revenues grew to $75 M with twelve direct reports and a company employing over one hundred and fifty professional staff.
Lead the negotiations and procurement of a major Department of Energy contract.
Structured accounting systems and reporting for compliance with FAR regulations.
Assisted in increasing the company’s profit margin from 30% to 55%.

Designed and implements internal financial and operational controls.
Led the efforts in acquiring two new plants and procured equity and debt funds for each acquisition.
Implemented and managed a new system of job costing; whereby, increasing significant per unit gross margins.
Upon the death of the CEO his family asked me to step in as the new CEO and leed the negotiation and sale of the company to Exxon.
JAVA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS 1987 - 1992
Chief Financial Officer
Joined JAVA as a start-up. As the fifth employee worked as a roll up the sleeves CFO, Controller and HR Director.
Led the effort to obtain $50MM from a venture capital and equity firms.
Established banking relationships.
Established a high-level ERP system.
Prepared with the assistance of KPMG and the company’s law firm S-1 SEC filing.
The end success story was a sale of the company then grossing over $180MM in annual revenue through its’ proprietary technology to Sun Microsystems. This was after JAVA was within three months of a public offering and the tech stock took a downturn where the Board of Directors elected for a private sale.
