I am interested in the positions of Program Officer, Project Delivery Support or other relevant areas. I am currently a Master of Arts student in Public Ethics. I also have a joint B.A. Honours in Human rights and law (specialized in law, government and policy) and a College diploma in law clerk/legal assistant. I am currently volunteering as a legal assistant in real estate and immigration sectors. Even though I have not work in family before, my training in family law course at college will enable me to learn new tasks quickly.
Even though I have not work as a program officer before in office environment, my two years experiences as Office Manager with current volunteering position as legal assistant in real estate and immigration equipped me to adapt working in office environment. My legal studies prepared me too for time management, organization, analytical and leadership skills that as assets to working to deadlines. My leadership skills and experiences as a college law student representative for two years set me as well to play an effective role individually and as a team player.
My experience in community service as Chairperson of South Sudanese communities for five (5) years in Ottawa, Canada, is an asset to utilize effectively as a team player. Most importantly, I am knowledgeable of the essence of cultural diversity in a diverse society. My experience as a refugee from South Sudan at a young age enlightened me for working hard, perseverance, commitment, consciousness, and analytical with legal and management skills that make me confident that I possess the skills and ability to provide a solid performance. These qualities meet the interest of a diverse society and a company that serves its citizens and customers with integrity.
