Working Experience Details

With 12+ years’ experience in the construction and maintenance industries with expertise mainly in the power, oil, gas & petrochemical both surface and off site facilities. Was assigned and worked as a safety representative in various large scales industrial construction and maintenance projects in India.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.

Ensure implementation of HSE policies and procedures.

To promote safety consciousness in all employees.

Report and analyze incidents and accidents with recommendations to prevent recurrence, with accountability at Department Head level.

Increasing safety awareness among staff through regular meetings at all levels.

Ensuring that all employees are equipped with the necessary protective clothing & equipment. (Appropriate PPE & Standard PPE)

Ensure the availability of work permits, JSA’s, MSDS’s, scaffolding tags, 3rd party inspection certificates, and other necessary documents before work is commenced.

Ensure good housekeeping throughout the shift, including proper waste management.

Assist the Safety Manager in the investigation of accidents, near misses, and complaints.

Assist to executing team the preparing of Risk Assessment& JSA/JHA.

Advising management promptly about unsafe plant, equipment or working conditions.

Providing advice and assistance on safety matters to Senior Management, Managers, Supervisors and workers.

Implementation of the Hot Work Permit and fire watch system while welding, to ensure high standard of fire prevention.

Coordinating with Fire Services, Medical Services and Security in case of an emergency.

Regular inspection of the work site and encouraging them to safe work practice.

Weekly walk around with client at work site.
