Medical Biller Position--

Dear Human Resource Manager:

Please accept my application for the Medical Billing and Coding position advertised on Indeed.com. My resume is attached for your review.

I am a graduate of the Virginia College Medical Billing and Coding program. At Virginia College, I was fully trained in medical billing and coding, coding conventions, medical terminology, medical insurance forms, computer software and the reimbursement processes necessary to begin a career in the field. I have successfully completed an externship at Pediatrics in Chattanooga, TN. In this position, I assisted the billing department with maintaining patient records, checking billings for accuracy, and following up on unpaid accounts.

I am a conscientious, dependable worker and am looking forward to starting a career in the field of medical billing and coding. I believe I am a good fit for the responsibilities described in the job advertisement. I hope to hear from you soon and will call you next week to see if it would be person to meet in person.
