Responsible for the categorization of lift according to the associated hazards

Calculation of weight of load to be lifted and the ground bearing pressure

Selecting the appropriate crane and set up for the job

Calculating Safe Working Load of the lifting accessories to be used for the lifting operation.

Selecting Lifting Equipment and Lifting accessories to be used for the operation and ensure that they have valid inspection reports with the correct colour code

Responsible for creating the necessary permit to work

Perform compliance checks on all third party contractors’ equipment before they are loaded to TOTAL offshore locations.

Providing logistics and technical support to personnel at the Onne quayside.

Follow–up the inspections performed by the approved third-party certifying companies, follow-up their jobs and facilitates their activities to meet up loading onto the vessels.

Supervise all lifting operations at the Onne quayside in conformity to company’s policies and procedures.

Ensuring strict compliance of the six monthly colour coding campaign.
