An internal opening allowed me the opportunity to move into a position closer to my career goal as a purchasing manager. managed the supply chain from the raw material and component side creating partnerships with our suppliers to achieve the same goal of customer satisfaction.

set up new suppliers that contributed to cost savings as well brought offshore materials to domestic suppliers which decreases lead times and on hand inventory.

lead work package in bmw plt review which identified a objective and a deadline to meet. During this process, I worked directly with bmw from germany, us and asia. my goal was reached 3 weeks ahead of schedule.
