Azyxxi v0 has been installed and used by thousands of clinicians in seven of those hospitals. Hundreds of clinical views and workflows have been created in this system to help clinicians provide the best care possible to their patients in a timely manner. The migration of Amalga v2 that enable clinicians to access & aggregate patient data across multiple hospitals, and the introduction of middle-tier system that provide extra layer of security to protect patient’s sensitive data have prompted MedStar’s management to upgrade their Amalga v0 to Amalga v2.

Integration Engine 2.4 is started in developing from scratch with the enhancement from 2.3 as a highly configurable engine in integrating applications around united healthcare products. The architecture is designed to make a product of its own in core integrator competence. This new version is highly performance and robust in maintenance. It accompanies an Enterprise Console, which keeps track the Components working and dataflow through the engine. And also an idiot proof IDE called Visual Rules Editor for writing and modifying business logics in transferring data through XML. It works with six components integrated with MSMQ and XML communication to transfer data across two third party application. Engine is developed to support MSMQ, TCPIP SERIAL PORT, and ODBC POLL mode of communication with XML, HL7, and Edifact standard data format.
