I have comprehensive & varied experience as CFO - & often CEO - of Small Medium Enterprises & subsidiaries of large UK groups in 12 countries.

Along with the usual responsibilities,have been :-

Incorporation and closures. Re-allocation of companies & offices to other sites.

Construction of new factory.

Renegotiation of prices, terms and contracts with both suppliers and customers.

As CEO ., secretarial,admin,

& H. R. matters.

Fluency in Portuguese100% & Spanish (85%) gave me a distinct advantage in being able to carry out the majority of roles.

With a local partner,I helped establish this group of 5 small companies, installing accounting & office admin procedures, establishing budgets, & ensuring updated forecasts etc.

●Sourced new clients increasing sales by 35%

●Renegotiated many contracts achieving 25% increase in margins.

●Opened new off-shore accounts to obtain leverage through LCs.

Totally remodeled finance/reporting systems, HR, company admin.

●Shortly after arrival found a scam by the local director that had resulted in 10% reduction in profits, carrying out his orderly dismissal and installing rigorous controls.

●Installed other controls leading to an increase of 15% in operating margins.

●Moved operations to larger office where 95% of employees lived => improved staff goodwill and general efficiency.

●I took direct control and renegotiated 2 large contracts with GM Brazil & Ford Buenos Aires,when it became evident that they were forecast to lose money due to errors in UK tenders & fall in currency value.
