-Was chosen as the first store manager of this location. At the time, this was the largest Dollarama in Saskatchewan. My responsibilities included assembling fixtures and executing floor plans.
-Starting from the ground up, I needed to hire all managers and associates. I took time to train and coach each of them to meet the needs of the business. This included training everyone to merchandise, stock and use the cash register.
-My personal responsibilities included opening and closing the store, preparing and securing daily deposits, payroll, and scheduling. I also took care of ensuring that sales goals were met and there was a high customer service standard within my store.
-Daily inventory counts were done to maintain stock levels and monitor shrink rate
