Senior .Net Developer Kaufman Financial & Insurance Group

Michigan, USA FEB 2014- JAN 2017

Designed databases and developed T-SQL queries, efficient stored procedures, functions and triggers to perform database tasks such as inserts, updates and deletes.

Conducted face to face meeting as well as go-to-meeting to ensure proper communications with partners and customers.

Developed and Maintained different Applications, Web Services, Data warehouse, and automation processes.

Created and updated different reports from KFG data Warehouse SQL Server environment.

Maintained, consumed, and developed web service and XML (XML Parsers, XML Schema, XSLT).

Delivered multiple end-to-end quality software & ETL processes solely, converting business needs into cutting edge technology solutions:

oCredit Card Processing Project (SEP): Phase I: Developed a secure, scalable and reliable web-based solution (MVC) to process credit card payments through a third-party service (Simply Easier Payment). The solution was a one-page app that gets hit by an external call coming from our financial system (Concept-One), then it displays real-time account balance. Then it posts the information to SEP web service to complete the payment process on their side. Phase II: Developed an ETL automated process (SSIS Package) to download the batch file (returned by SEP) from the FTP site, then parse SEP xml to generate a new XML file required to update our systems with the payments made. It also updates Image-right systems via web-services. This process logs and archives everything in a SQL table.

oUSLI Integration Solution: Developed .NET solution (MVC) to automate importing USLI policies into KFG main system (Concept-One). The solution extracted all policies in USLI xml file and displayed them on the view where KFG employee could review and edit them before importing them into Concept-One. It also imported the policies via several web service calls required to issue each policy. Once the import was completed, log was added into SQL Server table to be displayed later the history page.

oKFG User Information Portal: Developed a solution that displayed KFG active insured addresses throughout the United States. This solution displayed a Google Map with multiple addresses marked (up to 20 addresses). KFG agents entered a zip code, address, city or a state then the solution generated a detailed report. Users could export reports to PDF or print it out. Developed a complex stored procedure to return valid and active insured addresses.

oAddress Verification Report Project: Developed an innovative web application (MVC) for the insurance industry that allowed KFG agents to input US property addresses and generate summary reports of publicly available information. The information was gathered via several web-service calls to publicly available web services such as USPS, Google, Zillow and others. The solution validated the input address using USPS web service before generating the report. This generated report was used to validate information, assess policy risk and supplement other underwriting content. Finally, users could print out the report and export to PDF.

oSL Tax Reports Project: ASP.Net solution that generates monthly tax reports in the proper states’ xml schemas. Then submit the data to the Web API of the states of North Carolina, California, and Tennessee.

oRoyal Premium Migration Project: .NET solution encapsulated inside a script task to automate the process of updating Image-Right system with balance information provided by Royal Premium Insurance on a daily basis. The solution was scheduled to run every day to download the files from the FTP server then extract the data to generate the proper XML output to be loaded into Image-Right System. This process was logged and archived to meet KGF standards.

oUSAA Integration Project: .Net solution that transfers financial data to USAA SFTP servers. The solution scheduled to run and encrypt the files using GP encryption key then transfer USAA excel format reports to their SFTP server.

oElectronic Invoice Presentment and Payment (EIPP) Month-End Project: Asp.Net MVC application that generates and displays the monthly financial invoices. This solution enables KFG users review and edit invoices and post them to the final destinations via web services.
