Reporting to the V.P. of Equipment and Pricing and directing the Pricing Department. Manage a team of Pricing Analysts responsible for creating rate quotations for current or potentially new customers. Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional and ethical relationships on behalf of the company to both clients and service providers.
Managed approximate $10M yearly spend on drayage services. Reduced those dray costs approximately 7% by implementing a Truck Procurement Program
Managed over $96M in railroad moves. Main contact for all Class I North American Railroads. Negotiated / maintained rates, verified most efficient routings, confirmed transit schedules.
Maintained and updated over 16,000 customer specific rates in our system for over 120 individual customers. Processed over 130,000 customer orders in 2018.
