During my clinical experience, I had over 600 patient contact hours. I used evidenced-based practices and guidelines to assess, diagnose, and treat chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, ear infections, and upper respiratory infections in both the pediatric and geriatric population. I have worked in both the rural and urban areas of the upstate, providing care in clinics, mobile health units, and family practice offices.

While at USC Upstate, I studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. While in South Africa, I taught local nursing assistants how to take vital signs and gather biometric data for health care screenings.
