- Participate in tender bid preparation process for well engineering input.

- Technical & commercial evaluation of bid tenders and AFE cost estimate for planned well;

- Preparation of well design, well plan and operational procedures for construction, completion, testing, intervention and/or abandonment of wells in area of responsibility.

- Engineering study of drilling rig, drill bit selection, drilling directional, drilling fluids, casing and cementing design, downhole drilling tools, BHA configuration rotary and directional, wellhead design, BOP configuration and pressure test, well control, drilling problems optimization, drilling calculations, casing while drilling, wireline logging, waste drilling mud treatment, cost control...

- Prepare operational time and well cost estimates.

- Liaise, communicate and interface with relevant internal and external parties to ensure that the drilling & completion operations are carried-out as per approved plan.

- Understand every HSE procedure and rules related with well activities and assist to promote the implementation in view of compliance and effectiveness in the drilling activities.

- Plan, coordinate and perform on-site rig inspections, acceptance function and pressure test on contracted drilling rigs and third party equipment, materials and supplies to be in compliance with safety requirements and standards.

- Monitor daily progress of jobs/projects and monitor operations expenditure.

- Review day-to-day operation and entire drilling and completion campaign and evaluate the procedure and technical approach for future reference.

- Prepare, review and deliver all technical reports related to the project including End of Well Report, after action reviews and lessons learned summary.
