Degree Thesis on “Construction of 2-Axis feed drive system” (2016-2017)
• The feed drive is one of the most important parts of every CNC machine tool. The main purpose of feed drives is to run the parts of the machine and its tools (working table, tool unit, spindle unit etc.) through axes.
• A separate feed drive is necessary for every machine axis. Although, generally, feed drives have very simple kinematics structure their optimal design is problem which consists of selection of servo motor and mechanical transmission elements which must satisfy some requirements as a system.
• My thesis was to design a 2-Axis CNC milling machine, with dimensions supporting the given stroke of my BALL SCREW (1000mm). All the designing work (CAD Modelling and assembly) was done “Siemens NX-10”.
• Ball screw lives for both the axis were calculated with the axial and dynamic load, successful results were obtained and the design was mechanically and industrially fit for manufacturing. Employment History

Responsibilities:
• Lotus is a start-up precision machining manufacturing company under the initiative of “Make in India”. As a part of engineering team, defined the process for company’s standard which is in accordance to AS9100D (Aerospace Standard).
• Responsible for the communication with the engineering support team in regard with the design and development of the product to ensure the efficient production method.
• Design the architecture and plan the production process/flow in the agreed time and budget parameters and develop, evaluate the cost and improve the production methods.
• Maintain a permanent communication with the client to determine the specifications and/or modification of manufacturing products according to customer requirement.
• Deliberate with the entire engineering technical support team upon clarifying and solving problems, upon developing corrective and preventive actions (CAR, KAPA) in order to minimize the issues and evaluation techniques to potentially improve the production process.
• Coordinate Engineering activities with-in the Cross Functional Team (CFT) of the organization.
• Preparing BOM, PFMEA’s and Control plan for every manufacturing order as well as material handling guidelines.

• I worked as a trainee engineer in the section of Assembly and Sub-Assemblies of the jet Engine, learning and checking the modules, testing and repairing.
• Learning about safety, wheel alignment, testing, gear box repairing, were also the part of the training. Helping the senior engineers at the line of work with barometer testing, mounting head, as well as assembling and disassembling the parts of engine.
• Completed a “Detailed Progress Report (DPR)”, submitted to AIR INDIA, involved learning and suggested solutions to the problem areas. Mainly the gear box section, cleaning the gear box with the use of organic (hydrocarbon-based) halogenated, non-halogenated and blends solvents.
