Initially was part of a team providing ad hoc E&I SAS reporting to a very large user base. Spent the last 2 years supporting Community & State SAS reporting via structured reporting applications. Responsible for supporting PCCM which is comprised of 35,000+ lines of SAS/SQL which consolidated data from three different data sources (STG_CARE, CommunityCare and iCue) into a single view.

I have been assigned to other groups to resolve technical issues including, but not limited to: SAS performance, Oracle performance, SQL Server ETL and SAS upgrades.

Responsible for the creation of the first corporate Business Intelligence group. Instrumental in the selection and implementation of BI technology: Informatica and MicroStrategy.

Initial responsibilities focused on optimizing the existing hardware and database platform in order to postpone multi-million dollar upgrades.

Merged the mainframe and midrange database personnel into a single team centralizing the control and governance of all corporate data. Included: DB2, Oracle, ADABAS, secondary RDBMA platforms.

Sold the concept and benefits of data warehousing to an entrenched and conservative executive management

Established the first MDM architecture that has evolved to become the corporate standard
