Zain telecommunications brought a group deal to Ericsson which comprised of different Op-cos like Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Iraq, and Kuwait looking for a similar solution to upgrade their current telecom BSS \ OSS stack. Ericsson won the deal and proposed a phased solution to be implemented across the Op-Cos on similar lines consisting of the following phases: a) Phase 1 - IN SWAP b) Phase 2 - Billing c) Phase3 : CRM and ESB along with Advanced CRM. Current project is for Phase 1: IN SWAP: The Ericsson Charging system and Ericsson Multi-Activation would be configured and would replace the current IN and CS at Zain. This phase would also require a lot of integration and transformation amongst the newly introduced systems and the carry forward Zain entities like the CRM\Billing. To enable this integration an ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) layer needs to be built which shall expose re-usable services and orchestration logic to the existing\newly added source channels which would essentially help the functional flows to flow to and fro between source channels and the OSS stack comprising of the newly brought about CS+EMA solution replacing the IN.

This project is part of the Supply Chain Management. This project transitions ownership of inventory maintained by Cricket’s 4PL provider (Bright star) to Cricket. The current 4PL ownership model was implemented as part of the 2012 Ridgway project. This transition enables a more favorable financial model requiring Cricket ownership.
Cricket will own inventory at Bright star warehouses for all channels and all retail inventory categories. Dealers and National Retailers will take ownership of inventory from Cricket upon receipt of material at the dealer store locations.
Cricket will procure all inventories from OEMs via threeway agreements with Cricket, OEM & Bright star
Cricket will be responsible for threeway match and payment terms on the OEM invoice. Cricket will procure from resellers for B-stock and accessories. All inventory movements related to Cricket inventory must be provided by Bright star to enable accurate inventory quantities and accounting within Cricket systems. Warehouse Inventory Adjustments for all product categories managed by Bright star warehouses. Existing inventory conversion processes and tools.

Monitor TIBCO BPP processing exceptions via GEH (General Exceptions Handler) user interface.
