Opens consignee’s accounts.
Receiving and processing all vessels invoices and requests for payment.
Investigating outstanding items and resolving financial discrepancies.
Preparing annual financial statements of loss and profit.
Maintain files of all customers/vendor’s, contracts and other payments related to contracts.
Follow up for payment from consignees against vessels invoices.
Checks arithmetical accuracy, data quality and receiving stamp approval on the invoices with DO and Bill of Lading.
Advising and updating to MD on any irregularities or concerns about vessels invoices or any other financial matters.
Cash deposit/withdrawal into bank
Prepares cheques, Receipt voucher to the consignees.
Preparation salary statements at the end of month.
Transfers the employee’s salary in to bank according to WPS system. Experience
10-2012 to 01-2019 Secretary cum Accounts works in Marbu Contracting Company W.L.L (Doha, Qatar). Responsibility as a Secretary Cum Accounts:
Typing routine letters, reports and forms.
Schedules and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for general managers.
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
Completes requests by greeting customers, in person or on the telephone; answering or inquiries.
Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information; initiating telecommunications.
Addressing clients by name with a smile and direct eye contact.
Ordering of all PPE for the Unit.
Monitoring departmental recruitment and appointment of new staff members.
Supervise other clerical staff and provide training and orientation to new staff. Accounts Duties:
Opens new client’s (rental section) accounts.
Preparing & handling petty cash.
Follow up payment from clients/companies, outstanding invoices due for payment.
Handling of bill of materials, Preparation of purchase orders, Invoices.
Receiving and processing all invoices, expanse forms and requests for payment.
Investigating outstanding items and resolving financial discrepancies.
Preparing annual financial statements of loss and profit of the department.
Checks all invoices with purchase orders, with a valid contract.
Consecutive controls of LPOs checking and verifying long outstanding LPOs.
Maintain files of all customers/vendor’s, contracts and other payments related to contracts.
Checks arithmetical accuracy, data quality and receiving stamp approval on the invoices with LPO or agreement.
Allocate supplier codes and account codes.
Tally the receiving total and invoice total and invoice, and reconcile the outstanding with total payable balance.
Secures information by completing database backups.
Accepting cash from clients.
Advising and updating the departmental manager on any irregularities or concerns about invoices or any other financial matters.
Ensuring that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately. Academic Qualifications:
MBA - Master of Business Administration in (Banking & Finance) from AIlama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad (2012).
EMBA - Executive Manager in Business Administration 1 year Business Administration diploma from Modern Institute of Informatics and Management Islamabad (2010).
Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Government College of Commerce satellite town Rawalpindi affiliated with University of Punjab (2009).
