Quality Plus Services 2/17 – 05/18/17 Electrical and Piping Cad Designer

At AmbioPharm, which is a pharmaceutical facility, I Perform walk downs for new piping design, create new piping isometric sketches from my field measurements. Create sketches for the piping contractor to use as they run pipe in the field, using AutoCad and BlueBeam Revu. Coordinated work with piping foreman, interpreted P&ID’s and plan drawings for the piping foreman. While the pipe fitters were fabricating pipe, I coordinated with the pipe foreman, the field measurements needed to match the fabricated fittings.

At EZGO I performed field walk-downs for a new Electrical cabinets. Created a new panel layout and wiring diagrams for client use, using AutoCad and BlueBeam Revu. While sitting in the fabrication shop I created drawings for special machined parts for the plant.

Owens Corning Fiberglass I performed a field walk-down, took measurements for a Civil/Structural handrail for the overhead crane, using AutoCad.

Spectrum Engineering Services 12/14 -7/23/16 Electrical Designer IV

I was the only employee for Spectrum Engineering on the Potash jobsite, which this jobsite is a Chemical Fertilizer Plant. While at Potash I worked Civil, Structural, Piping and Electrical disciplines for Spectrum. Maintained all files, records and project drawings, including transmittals, Scope’s of Work and coordinated all work for Spectrum. I performed a field walk-down to determine if the Urea Tower was structurally safe, which included taking measurements, sketches and pictures for documentation, help perform calculations with the Civil/Structural Engineer. I designed a Civil/Structural handrail for the Urea Tower that was a Safety Factor. I designed a Civil/Structural Platform in the Nitrogen Plant, which included handrails, stairs, bollards and Concrete. I designed a four story tall Civil/Structural platform for the Silencer, which included handrails, stairs and a platform that is Safe for the Workers. The building I work out of was the fabrication shop. Walk-down for the whole site for the Triconex cabinets, which included tracing all wiring to all special instruments and controls in the field to ensure the wires were connected to the correct circuit in the Triconex Cabinet. Created Loop sheets for the Triconex Cabinet for all new instruments. I walk-down the existing Triconex in the C-002 ACID plant and traced all the wiring to every instrumentation and controls, while preventative maintenance was being performed and help locate the instruments that I designed for a new Silencer. Walk down of all the panels (seven new panels) for the DEF Rail Loading, created new drawings from my walk-down and field sketches, created loop sheets from the sketches. Created a DEMO/Construction packages for cables, cable tray, lights, receptacles, power panels and fiber panels, block diagrams, window schedules, schematics and single line diagrams, connection drawings, block diagrams, wiring drawings. Worked with the contractor’s to ensure everything was coordinated with Potash site Engineering Supervisor’s and Spectrum. Walked-down the entire UREA Plant Panels for a New GE MCC Control Room. Took measurements of panels, instruments getting physical locations for them; so they could be re-located to New GE MCC Room. Did the layout drawing for all panels and located them on the plan view, using MicroStation and BlueBeam Revu. Created Bill of Materials for all panels worked on. Did walk-downs for the entire plant for Pressure Relief Valve’s and associated piping, did Isometric sketches applied to new site drawings in AutoCad and BlueBeam Revu. Conceptual design for new Contractor’s Building, which involved new design for a substation, new disconnect switches, new transformers all to be coordinated with Georgia Power and site engineering. All work done is used per NEC 2014 and standards.

HIPP Engineering 09/13 -12/14 Electrical and Piping Designer

Walk-down for new CCTV security camera’s and the PIDAS fence for the new design on Potash property. Design and drafted P&ID’s and apply changes to the Loop diagrams, Panel Schedules, Cable schedules, Design cameras motion detection, and access control, schematics, single-line diagrams, read blueprints, back-checked all of the P&ID’s against the Loop Diagrams. Also, helped the team by using a conversion program that I found that converts .pdf files to .dwg drawings to ensure project came in way under budget. Checked all P&ID’s to ensure that all drawings related to the project reflect the changes that were done by walk down. Resolved problems found on P&ID’s and associated drawings. Walked-down a Caustic Acid room took measurements and helped place all the piping on the drawings for the project, coordinating the work with our home office, did most of the drawings in Isometrics layout, walked heat trace project and coordinated all the drawings with the home office. Wrote specification sheets for the Heat Trace Job.
