Amr Bakry started his career as a site engineer for a joinery and fit out company in Egypt from 2002 to 2003 involving in interior fit out projects. Then he joined MOBICA,the largest fit out company in Egypt as fit out project engineer from for 5 years from 2003 to 2008 involving in various high profile local and international projects like commercial buildings, hospital, library and airport. From 2008 to 2014he joined Global ART one of the largest Furniture and fit out companies in QATAR as a Project manager, For 6 years involving various high profile architectural and fit out projects. Then In 2014 he joined Louis Berger /WSP as a senior architect, from 2014 to 2017 worked in 3 projects for Qatar Foundation(Qatar foundation head quarter building, Qatar National Library and Qatar faculty of Islamic studies), form 2017 and till now he is working as a Senior Architect in Qatar Rail project PMC team, Red Line and Green Line.

Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies Education city-Qatar foundation Project description: The iconic Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies (QFIS) building at Education City has been nominated by Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for its inaugural International Prize.
A college of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and member of Qatar Foundation (QF), is one of 30 projects under consideration and the only Gulf representative. Designed by Mangera Yvars Architects Ltd, it houses an academic facility and a mosque which, with a capacity of 1,800 people, is one of the largest in Qatar.

Project description: A renowned landmark located within Education City, Qatar Foundation Headquarters has a total gross area of 29,110 square meters and comprises 13 floors with three main volumes.
Designed By OMA,World-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas,the building includes meeting rooms, an auditorium and lecture facilities with the capacity to accommodate over 500 Qatar Foundation employees and stands at approximately 57 meters tall. The Qatar Foundation Headquarters provides an executive office for Her Highness, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, and her entire support team.
Qatar National Library - Qatar foundation
Project description: Qatar National Library contains Doha’s National Library, Public Library and University Library, and preserves the Heritage Collection, The public library will house over a million books and over an area of 42,000 m2. The library is part of the Education City.
The library is conceived as a single room which houses both people and books. Qatar National Library plays a central role in the Education City, a project initiated by Her Highness Shiekha Mozah and the Qatar Foundation.

Job Description
Review and assess sub-contractors pre-qualifications and inspect their shop/factory as and when required.
Conduct supervision responsibilities in adherence to guidelines as indicated in the Pace Supervision Manual; ensure that supervision guidelines are being adhered to by site Interior Designers at all times.
Assist in resolving any issues raised by contractors (e.g. requirements for time extensions, change order requests, variations etc.); make recommendations to the Resident Engineer as appropriate.
Check all sample interior design materials, finishes and furniture submitted by contractors; ensure compliance against ministerial requirements and technical specification.

recommendations to the Resident Engineer as required.
Attend meetings (e.g. progress meetings, coordination and specially called meetings etc.) as and when require and approve Moms prepared by the Contract Administrator for comments made by self.
Lead snagging procedure after substantial completion of construction activities have ended; ensure that a snag list is prepared based on outstanding works and submit to the Resident Engineer for approval.
Work closely with the Design team in support of information required at Design Review meetings.
Prepare and coordinate all interior design/ FF&E documentation required for Tender and Construction issues.
Be in close liaison with the appointed FF&E or Fit-out contractor to ensure the project is coordinated with the main Contractors, and that all client and operator requirements are implemented.
