SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AND REASON FOR RELOCATING TO THE UK

I am a professional registered male Nurse/registered Orthopaedic nurse in my country Nigeria.

I am an experience ward/clinic nurse who has the necessary qualification and knowledge to work in any health care institution. I have gained experience with all of the common and major procedures in nursing care of patients in both wards, clinics or theatre experience.

I am a person-focussed individual and compassionate who take great care with record keeping, with good interpersonal relationship and communication. I also have great passion for quick service delivery of highest standard of care. I believe that high quality nursing care can lead to improved patient recovery in all hospital community.

I have worked in various departments in nursing division, eg surgical ward, medical ward Orthopaedic ward, paediatrics ward, Eye ward, Theatre and a trained Central sterilizing supply Department( CSSD) Practitioner.

I have been a Nurse over 20 years and currently in Orthopaedic / Burns & Plastic Clinic.

My reasons for wishing to relocate to UK are because of my sincere desire to work and improve my nursing proficiency through practice and education in UK. I have long desired to work and reside as a nurse in UK with my family.

POSITION: Nursing Officer 1,

UNIT. Paediatric Medical and Surgical Ward

DUTIES:

Identify changes in a child’s signs and symptoms and intervene in emergent situations

Maintain privacy and confidentiality in nurse/child relationships

Differentiate between normal and abnormal physical findings

Serve as a child advocate

Participate in activities to manage a child’s pain
