Description: Learnt about the role and activities of the State Legal Services Authority. Attended various programmes organised by the Authority, including LokAdalats, Legal Aid Clinics. Enrolled as a Para-Legal Volunteer.
Judicial Internship with Hon’ble Mr. Justice T.P.S. Mann, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh. [March, 2013: 2 Weeks]
Description: Hon’ble Judge presided over civil matters including Hindu law, land acquisition cases, rent matters, motor vehicle accident claims. I undertook extensive research on specific issues under Motor Vehicles Act and Hindu law.Observed hearings for these matters before the Hon’ble Judge and prepared detailed notes/ analysis for the same. Prepared synopsis for matters listed for hearing on daily basis. Also, performed research work as assigned by Hon’ble Judge for finding out relevant Judicial Precedents on various topics like Application of multiplier in motor vehicles accident claims.
