Assign,directs and supervises sewer and pump station division employees, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures;assists and advises subordinates in the resolution o non-routine problems and situations;monitors and coordinates all assigned work. Handles all personal matters involving subordinates, including hiring,interviewing,training,scheduling,granting leave,evaluation and disciplining.

Assist in preparation of division annual operating budget;prepares cost estimates and a quantities o materials for capital improvement budget.

Plans and schedules the maintenance of cave-ins;coordinates the scheduling of sewer repairs,maintenance and replacements thoughtout the City and pump stations. Reviews work orders to ensure accuracy of work orders;verifies time and materials expended on projects

Researches and attempts new methods and procedures to improve productivity and job performance established goals for the division.

Works with and coordinates the work of outside contractors and developers. Assists in budget preparation for divisions;maintain records of division purchases; record time sheets and maintains a variety of files.

Checks new cave-ins.

Requisitions materials and supplies;maintains records of invoices and purchase orders. Performs other related work as required to include inspection of new sewer construction in roadways and pump stations.
