1999 – 2000 Fresenius Medical Care - Hemodialysis Nurse: Responsibilities included working in a dialysis
unit as charge nurse as well as doing acute cases in Charleston area hospitals. Requirements included acute assessment skills, implementation of care needed, with close physician contact. Knowledge of equipment, accessing grafts, care of catheters, bleeding on and off of volumetric machines, troubleshooting equipment, monitoring lab values and administering medication.
