Providing the leadership in interpreting, supporting and implementation of the Medical center and Nursing department philosophy, policy, procedures and standards along with the guidelines and quality improvement processes; Working effectively with all staff professional and support leading groups of personnel and the collaboration with an interdisciplinary team approach with a full range of nursing care for the adult and Geriatric resident to include C.A.R.F. Served as the senior officer in charge of clinical operations and was acting commanding officer for rear detachment when unit got deployed. Duties included the daily operations of the unit which included the planning, training and readiness of all professional. And support staff. Was the go-to person for all databases for tracking the readiness and quality assurance of all clinical operations which included general medical clinics, dental, Labatory and veterinary and health safety Services

July 2010 to July 2013 Captain/Major Army Nurse Active Duty Army Professional Management Command (APMC) Served as the Officer in charge of risk management for the credentialing department and acting department head. Duties included the management of health care providers who might be at risk for failing to be credentialed by a military hospital for malpractice claims, substance abuse and/or other issues that was reviewed on a case by case basis. Also did yearly briefings to various commands and units to cover best clinical practice and other guidelines.

Duties included the orientation and precepting of professional and support staff along with daily operations to ensure the effective communication and collaboration to provide highest quantity of care along with the safest care possible.

Dec 2000 to July 2009 399th combat support hospitals First lieutenant /Captain U.S. army reserves

Duties included the charge nurse for 21 bed medical surgical. Unit. Deployed in support of the operation Iraqi Freedom. While deployed was transferred to the Air force Hospital as their acting ER Nurse Manager (jan2007 to June 2007).
