Each and every American citizen have insurance policy and health treatment will be paid only by the insurance company where they have account. Hospitals will approach insurance company for claimswith Patient details. Insurance company may accept/reject/reduce the amount based on policies covered for apatient. They will provide the reason for rejection/reduction of amounts in the format of code. Amount will be transferred by electronic checks to reduce the paper usage. Hospitals may reside in the location where insurance companies placed or in some remote location. All the transactions are coming in a batch which has number of transactions combined to process. Each bank will have unique rules to proceed. These are modifiable by clients. Rules should be followed while transaction is processing.

Project Description:

HLOP is a web based application used to generate the Health care claim payments and Remittance advice. The insurance plan uses the 835 file format to make payments to healthcare providers to provide EOBs when they submit 837 Healthcare claim file. Lockbox file with all payment details will be loaded into the worklist. BPO users have to Keyin the patient details based on the details present in the scanned images. QC user will cross verify the details entered in the HLOP application and submit the generated batches. The output files will be generated based on the BPO entered details in the Keyin grid.
