Title : “Design Analysis and Fabrication of Disc brake rotor ”
Team size : 6
Duration : From Feb 2018 to March 2018
Description : One of the most critical component in the vehicle is braking system. The disc brake is an element that makes use of artificial frictional resistance to stop the motion of moving vehicle. In this project we have made an effort design a disc brake using latest version of UNIGRAPHICS software and analysis is done using ANSYS package and the results are plotted in the form of nodal temperatures, deflections and von misses stresses. The final model of disc brake is fabricated using CNC milling vertical machine with the help of G-codes and M-codes.
