My name is Josef Gwaza,a 42 year old male. I have more than ten years experience working in road construction industry as a traffic safety officer(traffic controller). Throughout the years we made use of various vehicles to move temporary road closures on site and I had to operate code 10 trucks on many occasions (up to 8 ton trucks).
I am writing this letter to show my intention to apply for a position which is advertised. I believe my experience as a driver is enough to qualify me for the position. I have really enjoyed working as a traffic controller, but I believe the time is right to start a new chapter in my career. I am eager to start from the beginning and learn something new and different from what I've been doing over the years. I am well mannered,respectful and a fast learner who puts in a lot of effort into a project. I love to see projects through. I have been driving accident free for the past 15 years with my code 10 drivers lisence. I also obtained my code 14 drivers lisence in November 2018. I hope to get an opportunity to prove my worth as a driver and grow within a company.
