TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEE – ULG Staffworks – Onsite warehouse staffing at a Ryder Company facility on the west side of Indianapolis. Took contract position with P S E (2018)

CONTRACT DESIGN ENGINEER – Brumbaugh Engineering & Surveying - Staff Engineer conducting site engineering and drainage designs in the central western part of Ohio. Completed contract assignments. (2018)

CONTRACT DESIGN ENGINEER –multiple engineering companies in and around Louisville, KY on an as-needed basis preparing and reviewing site and drainage designs in the tri-state area. Could not attain Kentucky Engineer Registration. (2017 to 2018)

STATE STANDARD TEST EVALUATOR - McGRAW HILL COMPANIES – subcontract test evaluator of standardized educational progress exams. Part time emp[oyment. (2013 to 2016)

SENIOR ENGINEER - EMH&T, Indianapolis, IN branch office – temporary employee in water resource, sanitary sewers, drainage design, water quality treatment, site development. Green-field and Brown-field development and expansion projects. Spousal health issues precluded continued employment. (2014 to 2014)

SENIOR HYDRAULIC ENGINEER – INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - in responsible charge of reviews of hydraulic and hydrologic submittals of bridge and culvert INDOT funded projects of over 40 different consulting engineers. Left following Agency reorganization. (2008 to 2013)

SQUAD MANAGER - INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - managed virtual squad in the production management division of La Porte district at the central office in Indianapolis. Virtual squad dismantled and transferred to Hydraulics Department. (2007 to 2008)

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER – BEAM, LONGEST & NEFF LLC, Indianapolis, IN - Preliminary Engineering Reports for storm water drainage upgrades utilizing RCAP funding. Drafted and presented a 2.5 mile water main relocation study involving INDOT highway widening and upgrade project for City of Bloomington Utilities. Coordinated Rule 5 and Rule 13 management and reporting program implementation, site development plans for Evansville Redevelopment Commission. Left to take management position with INDOT. (2004 to 2007)

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER - MAJOR ENGINEERING and LAND SURVEYING, Greenwood, IN - designed the sanitary sewerage and water distribution systems for the Indianapolis Airport Midfield Terminal project on the west side of Indianapolis. Project manager of general airport site engineering on Midfield Terminal Project. Manager for small to medium sized residential development projects. Company downsized and concentrated on the surveying side of business as a minority contractor for State. (2002 to 2004)

BRANCH OFFICE MANAGER and CHIEF DESIGN ENGINEER - THE BONAR GROUP, Fort Wayne, IN - managed Indianapolis Office and supervised 10 employees at a branch location of a state-wide moderate sized engineering company servicing municipal and private developers. Left when branch office was closed. (2000 to 2002).

SENIOR ENGINEER – SCHNEIDER CORPORATION, Indianapolis, IN - Site Design Team, designer for individual commercial projects, hydraulic design of on-site detention systems for residential developments. Worked with architectural team for site layout projects in central Indiana. Worked alongside survey team in adjustments made to site plans and construction layouts. (2000 to 2000)

PRESIDENT/CEO - BARTOLO ENGINEERING and SURVEYING TEAM, Canfield, OH - Prominence in providing wetland delineation and mitigation plans. Innovative designs in planned unit developments. Prepared flood plain analyses, map amendments, and map revisions for FEMA insurance rate map updates, designer for one of the first constructed wetlands in northeast Ohio. Interacted with governmental agencies to coordinate timely completion of public works and privately financed construction projects. (1993 to 2000)

VICE PRESIDENT and CHIEF DESIGN ENGINEER - C.W. HAENNY & ASSOCIATES, Poland, OH - engineers, surveyors, and support staff servicing tri-county area’s residential land developers, builders, and mortgage service companies. (1986 to 1993)

CHIEF DESIGNER - ZOKLE & ASSOCIATES, Boardman, OH - engineering services that included hydraulic process design, structural design of clarifiers and access tunnels, architectural engineering of office and laboratory, municipal engineering, and building demolition and rehabilitation. (1983 to 1986)

CHIEF DEPUTY COUNTY ENGINEER - MAHONING COUNTY ENGINEER, Youngstown OH – in charge of Design and Survey Departments, with responsibilities of construction review of both public works projects and private development projects. (1970 to 1983)

ADJUNCT PROFESSOR - Youngstown (OH) State University - Instructor in 3rd and 4th year undergraduate civil engineering courses. (1979 through 1986)
