Amana Steel Buildings Contracting LLC- Dubai, UAE Personnel Assistant (September 2018, up to date)
Duties:
1. Handles the Company’s personnel activities including leaves, advances, deduction,employment offers, allowances, resignations, terminations, grievances, and others. 2. Develops and maintains personnel files of the Company employees in accordance with local legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
3. Assists in the recruiting process of employees. 4. Assists in providing Company orientation to all newly admitted employees (staff). 5. Responsible for ensuring the timely and thoroughness update of Master Labor Cards in the system. 6. Responsible for the accuracy of data in Personnel & Administration modules and SAWA. 7. Checks staff payroll, matching time cards with Master Labor Cards, on a monthly basis. 8. Prepares Company payroll for Finance to action. 9. Records site accidents and follows- up with the insurance company until a credit note is issued. 10. Coordinates with Construction division and Camp Boss on the transfer of manpower between sites and Business Units. 11. Ensures proper update of cost allocation related to transfer of manpower to the other BU to maintain accurate records 12. Ensures that the performance evaluation program for employees is conducted on time 13. Handles the employees probation period evaluation as per Company policy and procedure.
14. Assists Personnel and Administration Manager in compiling and arranging a training plan for employees 15. Supports Personnel and Administration Manager in setting annual office budget. 16. Manages Staff medical insurance process properly until credit note is received. 17. Leads the labor committee meetings and addresses relevant issues to the concerned parties.

1. Prepares and updates manpower reports in terms of transfers, new joiners, leave applications and absences. 2. Responsible to create and update manpower data in the ERP system. 3. Responsible to maintain and update all manpower physical files. 4. Assists Sr. Personnel Officer in processing leave applications, leave settlements, duty resumptions, final settlements, resignations and terminations for manpower.
5. Updates on a monthly basis the job cost allocation for payroll related issues and handles the daily reports of manpower 6. Assists Personnel and Administration Manager in compiling and arranging a training plan for employees as per company policy and procedure.
7. Assists in the training and development of new comers as requested. 8. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
