Responsible for daily testing and commissioning activity with the project requirements, testing sheet prior for the activity to start. Analyzed situation in term of safety procedure in which HSE department is required. Job Description:

Knowledge to performed, plant pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up-instrumentation-process control system(PCS), bench and field calibration/test of different type of instrument/devices namely pressure, level, temperature, flow transmitter; control, solenoid, reliefs, on-off, and pneumatic valves with the project management team and Saudi Aramco proponent as witness. Review, Preparation, As built (redlined mark) of piping and instrument drawing (P&ID), instrument specification sheet (ISS) and calibration certificate of the standard device prior to conduct calibration test and includes loop folder attachment document such as instrument installation sheet, loop check form, punch list form, calibration test report, control valve pneumatic hook up, cable insulation resistance test, impulse line test report, segment test form, instrument loop diagram (ILD) and piping and instrument drawing (P&ID) prior for instrument/device final test. Conduct individual cold loop and open loop test in Programmable Logic Control (PLCTRICONEX-1311 application), utilizing Vibration Monitoring System (VMS), Compressor Control System (CCS), and Burner Management System (BMS).

Hands-on comprehensive experienced in troubleshooting/functional test with all the process instrument/devices involved in a certain close loop in order to conclude for the normal functionality of all the process instrument/devices and to rectify occurrence problem in the system and also pre-final and final loop check for variable types of Foundation Fieldbus and Analog transmitters (YOKOGAWA, ABB, ROSEMOUNT,ENDRESS HAUSER, etc.) thru Distributed Control System (DCS).Responsible for monitoring the actual action and behavior of instruments/devices from the field thru Distributed Control System (Boardman) using INVENSYS-FOXBORO system during pre-loop, final loop and functional test.

Supervises in performing bench and field calibration of process instrument and modifying control loops, removes/replaces, instruments, add and deletes systems. Includes loop check and functional testing of smoke, fire alarm, and gas detectors such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S), hydrocarbon (HC), butane, methane and ammonia. Pre-configuration of field instrument/devices prior for loop/individual test such as motorize operated valves, (MOV’s) control valves (CV’s), special design process variable transmitter such as level transmitter radar type, probe type and ultra-sonic flow meter.

Conduct solo run test for all the utility pump motor associated with the local/remote/off position indicator from the motor switch board panel includes the instrument/devices such as pilots light, hand switch, and local stop-push button switch employing single phase, 110volts AC and synchronized/permissive control signal from Process Interface Building (PIB) to Electrical (Power) Sub-station and field motor.

Diagnosed faults/trends and takes or recommends appropriate corrective action as per required and ensures adequate resources to carry out the activities e.g. hand tools, test equipment and materials needed. Attended orientation for safety awareness, hygiene and proper safety procedure on the job site as per required of client safety department such as personal protective equipment (PPE), working at heights, confine space entry, hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and lockout-tag out equipment procedure. Execute Remote Instrument Building (RIB) cabinet termination as per Engineering standards and procedure as well as modification/rectification, installation/ assembly terminal blocks and railings prior to cable termination. Responsible for all in-coming cable from the field instrument/devices to Remote Instrument Building (RIB). End-to-end cable check (continuity test) prior to termination in order to eliminate, correlate or eliminate cable swapping. Vendor’s assistant of ATLAS COPCO compressor, diagnoses discrepancies occurrence in every single instrument/devices involved in compressor automatic function associated to the next stage relevant with the system designed. Preliminary functional testing of the whole compressor packaged, (from field instrument/device, to Remote Interface Building and supply power from sub-station as per standard procedure prior to system turnover.

Vendor’s assistant of CALLIDUS ground and elevated flare stack, actual ocular checkup, point to point termination of temperature sensor located at flare stack burner to ensure consistent contact and appropriate material needed that can stand high temperature. Individual functional test of temperature igniter transformer rated 110VAC/5kVAC for high voltage ignition and on/off valves sequencing base on its logic design. Split range temperature control valves field calibration and functional test. Perform loop testing with the various instrument/devices associated in flare stack package using EMERSON process management in Distributed Control System (DCS) and DELTA V for logic controller.

Complies with the strict compliance of all QA/QC, safety procedures, and company rules, and regulations up to the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of injuries/accidents and or incidents.
