WORK EXPERIENCE

My first job was in Durban Magistrate’s Court Regional section where I dealt with filing, answering telephone calls, accepting documents for filing, giving court dates and posting of documents. It was a voluntary position in the year 2007. I left the position after three (3) months to further my studies.

My second employment was at S.A. Car Hire Company in 2009 where I was employed as a secretary. My duties were answering telephone calls, typing, sending and receiving emails, preparing refreshments for clients, arranging meeting and appointments for clients and making bookings when travelling businesswise. I left the position due to company closure.

My third employment was at the Durban Magistrate’s Court working as a Court Interpreter in civil court and domestic court where I was interpreting in IsiZulu and English. I left the position because it was a six (6) months contract.

My current employment is at Sinama & Associates Inc. where I am positioned as a Secretary/ Receptionist. I have been employed for five (5) years. My duties are: - filing, answering phone calls, opening files for new clients, banking, serving at other law firms, completing claim forms, lodging claims at the Road Accident Fund, sending and receiving emails, taking messages, arranging appointments, organising diary, reporting estates at the Master’s Office and advertising on the Independent Newspapers section 29, data capturing opening Estate Late accounts and purchasing stationary for the office.
