Employee and Labor Relations

•Leads in the promotion of a professional atmosphere that encourages employee’s engagement, through the development of activities to demonstrate management visibility, fair and consistent resolution of issues, build team spirit, and improve wellness and morale.

•Consistent monitors labor regulatory frameworks; communicates developments in the conditions of employment, formulates supporting policies, and leads compliance schemes.

•Integrate the overall organizational vision and corporate objective in the formulation of policies and procedures, effectively communicates that these are approved and established; manages implementation to ensure consistent compliance; reviews and recommend enhancements in response to changes in the environment, business needs, and legislative requirement.

• Actively leads in managing employee-employer issues, facilitates fair and consistent resolution. Works with senior management and Executive Committee, and directly coordinates with external legal counsel on matters needing legal advice. Implements disciplinary action when necessary.

•Provide conflict resolution and guidance with employee relations issue in accordance with the Policy on Discipline Discharge.

•Coordinates assigned HR policies, processes and programs and implementation within the business unit.

•In-charge in the interpretation and application of the Code of Conduct and other HR policies.

•Monitors ER related concerns and recommend action plans/interventions to reduce recurring issues. Provide interventions to increase employee morale and engagement.

•Conduct yearly Employee Survey Pulse to drive, design and implement account specific HR initiatives.

•Collects, complies and analyze relevant team member data source through the conduct of exit interviews, grievance handling, and career counseling which may be used for planning and Organizational development.

•Interviews workers and discusses with personnel, human relations and work-related problems that adversely affect morale, health and productivity.

•Evaluates and resolves human relations, labor relations and work-related problems, and meets with management to determine appropriate action.

•Explains and provides advice to workers about company and governmental rules, regulations and procedures, and need for compliance.

•Counsels employees regarding work, family, or personal problems.

•Explain company compensation and benefit programs, such as medical, insurance, retirement, and savings plans, and enrolls workers in specified programs.

•Develops, schedules, and conducts technical, management, and interpersonal skills training to improve employee performance.

•Prepares newsletters and other reports to communicate about employee concerns and comments and organizational actions taken.

•Attends conferences and meetings, as employee-management liaison, to facilitate communication between parties.

• Prepares reports and updates medical, insurance, retirement, and other personnel forms and records using computer.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

•Assists the accounts leading with payroll disputes.

•Assists in the formulation of incentive scheme to align with accounts overall business strategy.

•Interpret salary and wage survey and recommend a blue print for attracting and retaining employees.

•Verification and signing payroll summary before we submit to the accounting department.

•Assists employees for the processing of their claims in the mandatory benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig and TIN.

•Research compensation and benefits policies and plans to ensure the organization’s offerings are up-to-date, cost effective and competitive.

•Monitor important compensation and benefits trends.

•Compare benefits plans, job classifications, or salaries through data and cost analyses.

•Prepare job descriptions, salary scales, and occupational classifications.

•Evaluate job positions to determine classification and salary.

•Ensure company compliance by adhering to federal and state laws.

•Designs and prepares reports summarizing the research analysis.

•Present recommendations to compensation, benefits, human resources, and other managers.

RECRUITMENT:

•Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

•Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.

•Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

•Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

•Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

•Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

•Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.

•Utilize the Internet for recruitment.

•Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.

•Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting.

•Research new ways in using the Internet for recruitment.

•Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
