Analyzed current payroll processes and made recommendations for audits and created forms for various payroll functions. Worked under minimal supervision, and caught on quickly to the new cloud based system and job functions.

Participated in conference calls with Ceridian/Workday to move free standing Corporate locations and transition them to Las Vegas. Balanced Payroll and Timecards to commit payroll for payment by Ceridian Management Services Team. Worked closely with Management Services Team to ensure payroll processing was error free. Worked Closely with Human Resources, to process manual payments for increases, final payouts, missed hours/punches.

File quarterly payroll taxes, process and distribute W-2s. Test system patches from Vendors that could adversely affect payroll production. Distinguished marks 8 years in a row for less than 2 errors during my annual review period. Worked on a team with HR and HRIS to choose a new payroll/HR vendor rom March 2017 – October 2017 our go live date. Helped develop, document, and implement elements needed to ensure a smooth transition to the new cloud based system, Workday. Continue to troubleshoot issues as they arise with code set-up, and provide insight to the HRIS team for proper fixes based on my vast knowledge of how our previous system processed payments correctly.

Filled in for vacations and days off for other team members. After I was able to bid for a route, I became a swing for 2 seven day routes. I worked the route on the Primaries days off. Ordered, delivered product, merchandised shelves/displays, and rotating to ensure product was always fresh. After I got my own route, I exceeded my sales goals multiple weeks in a row to receive the “top dog” award on a regular basis. I was well liked by store managers and staff at all of my stores because I always gave exceptional customer service, and the common sense to determine what sold best at each location. I had never done this type of job before, but they gave me a chance and I far exceeded their expectations. The only reason I left was to ensure I would not lose my office skills I worked so hard in the past to be proficient at.

Processed weekly and semi-monthly payroll for 200 employees Processed weekly 401k, 401k loan, deferred compensation, and flexible benefit reports. Printed Trial Balances and reconciled all Benefit deductions for the month and posted to sub-ledgers. Posed general ledger entries for benefit payments. Tracked eligibility and provided new benefit enrollment materials. Input new employees and made changes to Blue Cross/Blue Shield database. Processed termination paperwork for HR files, benefit plans and processed COBRA documents. Company closed its doors shortly after relocating to Las Vegas from Reno due to a large tax credit that required them to do business outside the State of Nevada.
