Title: FABRICATION OF HYDRAULIC BENDING MACHINE AND ANALYSIS ON THE FRAME USING ANSYS

Objective: When different forces (9810N, 7375.5N, 4905N) are applied on the rollers, the life, damage, safety factor of the frame are analyzed using ANSYS.

Key Skills Used: (1) CATIA

(2) ANSYS

Learning: On the application of different loads it is found that the Life of the frame is increased with decrease in force, the Damage is found to increase with increase in force and the Safety Factor is increased with the decreased in the force.

On the application of different loads 9810N, 7357.5N, 4905N :

The maximum value of the Life (1 10 cycles) is constant even if the load varies and the minimum value of the Life varies as 6578.9, 16843,73639 cycles.

The minimum value of the Damage (1000) is constant even if the load varies and the maximum value of the Damage varies as 1.52 10, 59372, 13580.

The maximum value of the Safety Factor (15) is constant even if the load varies and the minimum value of the Safety Factor varies as 0.287, 0.3831, 0.5746.
