Duties and Responsibilities
Assistant engineer for Piping fabrication shop and fabrication of all kind of piping materials Preparing daily and weekly reports to the management and review the progress Preparation of three week look ahead schedule and compare with the actual progress Monitoring the piping erection activities at site
Monitor the progress, man hour and equipment working hours. Responsible for the co-ordination of the projects by combining all the available resources in the optimum way to achieve the goal.
Execution of plant piping erection activities
Modification and replacement of various piping system. Preparing HVAC layout as per client requirement and submit the shop drawing for approval. HVAC work execution in site as per the approved shop drawing. Responsible for punch listing and clearing the pretest items prior to testing the test packs. Responsible for the execution of Tie-in works and preparing method of statement. Monitor and coordinate with safety officers for safety evaluation on site and prepare reports. To extract the necessary data from engineering drawing for the fabrication and erection of piping.
Preparation of daily progress report and raising RFI for inspection of the work. Preparation of measurement sheets for every monthly bill. Preparation of method of statement for the shutdown and related tie – in of new piping with existing lines.
Preparation of weld map and release for pre fabrication of spools. Monitoring the fabrication & erection work for above ground and Underground piping with support erection followed by pre-test punch listing, release for Hydro and pneumatic testing, reinstatement and achieve MC punch clear as per planned schedule. Piping of materials such as, RTR (GRE & GRV), CPVC, HPVC, UPVC, HDPE, COPPER and GI threaded lines.
