From October2012 to April 2018:

As proposals Engineer at M/s Voltage Engineering Limited, Doha- Qatar. Responsible for all tendering activities beginning from the receipt of tender documents. Study tender requirements, technical specifications, floating enquiries to the suppliers and subcontractors as per the list of approved suppliers and approved subcontractors for that particular tender. Follow up the enquiries for timely receipt of offers. Study the offers and make the comparison statements technically and commercially. Highlight for any technical deviations. Raise technical queries to client as and when required during the tendering stage. Arrange technically competent person to attend the site visit for making the technical requirements very clear.

Select the optimum products and services available from the market for estimating and costing of the tender. Discuss the techno-commercial offers with the higher technical and commercial authorities of the company to confirm the technical and commercial competency of the proposal.

Finally with their approval prepare the final techno-commercial offers for tender submission. The coordination with various suppliers / subcontractors as applicable for the relevant tender, estimation, costing, negotiations with various suppliers/subcontractors, preparation of the Techno-Commercial offers, offer submission, co-ordination with the client during technical stage, techno- commercial clarifications till contract award.

Studying the technical and commercial offers received from various suppliers and subcontractors to verify the compliance with the tender requirements. Make the technical clarifications with the suppliers and subcontractors and raise technical queries to the client for further clarifications. Make the complete technical and commercial offers using the selected suppliers and subcontractors to the satisfaction of client.

Include technical specifications, drawings, data sheets and compliance statements in technical offers.

Project progress monitoring and billing follow up and reporting to the management. Study the General conditions of contract for controlling the bill preparation and submission. The submitted invoices to the client and by the suppliers are dealt as per the relevant terms and conditions given in the general conditions of contract. Study the relevant terms of the General conditions of the contract as applicable in the case of payment from client, delays in the project execution, chances of penalties, liquidated damages, cancellation of CWR, variations in the contract amount etc as applicable during the execution.

For the Kahramaa Projects GTC 707/2014 and GTC 755/2016 responsible for the CWR wise progress monitoring and billing follow up. Make cost and time schedules for the individual CWR s and follow up the progress, highlight the delays and over expenses to the work team, suggest the solutions to avoid the chances for penalties to be imposed by client. Monitoring each CWR from the date of receipt from KAHRAMAA till the completion and handing over. List out the completed CWR s for billing purpose, follow up for each stage of approval and signature by client till the receipt of OV number from KM. Confirm the final submission of bills to KM finance department.

Also responsible for the progress monitoring of the various cable laying and Civil substations Projects for the client KAHRAMAA.

Coordinate with the site Engineers to assess the actual progress at site for all the disciplines in detail and record the daily/ weekly/ monthly progress of the multidisciplinary project. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports including progress “S" curves and manpower histograms and submit for client approval.
