Description : The company assembles rear axle and chassis for MSIL, Honda, Volkswagen and Ford. The project was under logistics department and the focus was to optimize the forklift movement and random movement of casual workers that were responsible for feeding material on the line.

Minute to minute reading of each activities performed by forklift and casual workers were recorded

Studied the recorded data for improvement and optimization

Reduced one forklift and came up with better line feeding time plan which reduces the randomness of the casual workers
