JOB DESCRPTION

Oversee the continuous improvement of the maintenance organization.

Develop and execute long-term strategic plans

Directly responsible for fleet maintaining assets for correct functionality and safty working conditions.

Mange and coordinate the activities of personnel involved in the service and repair of vehicles, equipment time commitment and maintenance standards

Establishes policies for inspection,maintenance and repair of vehicles and communicates those policies

Determines weekly and monthly repair schedules to reduce or eliminate downtime

Confers with operations to arrange for vehicles and equipment to be released from service for inspection service or repair

Schedules repairs in a timely, cost –effective manners, assigns and directs activates of service and repairs personnel and follows up on repairs being made.

Authorizes and arranges for purchase of shop supplies.

Consults with Operations on vehicle and equipment need or replacement

Cooperate with the safety manager to investigate and assess the cause and extent of damage to equipment used in accidents and breakdowns.

Tracks equipment utilized .

Reviews and approves all tool and equipment purchases for the projects and field Establishes and monitors all fuel deliveries.

Operates the workshop within budget and according to established policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Planning for daily work in the workshop and distribution business on the maintenance department staff

Organize time working in the maintenance department and the issuance of instructions and define the tasks for them

Supervision and work on maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles and generators and machines & supervising the installation of pumps and distribution lines after the external installation and action assays external maintenance . engineering maintenance .
