Since receiving my RN, I have taken the opportunity to certify in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and ENPC. I have also had the opportunity to gain the knowledge base of pediatric and adult care in the emergent setting. I have over 20 years of experience in the emergency department in a level’s III hospital taking care of adult and pediatric patients in Virginia. Since moving to Florida, I have worked in a level 1 trauma center, afterhours pediatric clinic, and afterhours pediatric triage. For the last two years I have been in school for my MSN-FNP. I will be graduating in June 2019 and then sitting for my FNP certification shortly after graduation. With my nursing background I feel a urgent care center would be an ideal fit for me. I enjoy meeting and working with people. I consider it a privilege to work in the health care field and take my responsibility with care and pride
