Work Summary:

I have had more than thirty years of experience in information technology, advancing from data entry, computer operator to programmer/analyst to system administrator. Most recent experience was to provide support to civil service and military customers, their computer laboratory and presentation center. My responsibilities were to administer and maintain Sun, SGI, and Windows 2000/2003/2007 servers and workstations, Windows NT 4.0 servers and workstations, Windows 98/95/2000 workstations, automated tape backup equipment, video switching and projection equipment, video teleconferencing Tandberg & PicTel equipment, and networking equipment. Also, responsible for installation and operation of a wide range of general and special purpose software including user account administration and user support. In addition, our group recommended new hardware and software, and supported the system setup and operation for war games and exercises. Professional Experience:

2013 - Present: Part Time - Behavioral Services of Nevada (Contractor) Facilitate socialization, communication, parent education, life skills, household management, safety awareness/planning, organization skills, traditional living skills, time management, hygiene and self care. Majority of my involvement has been working with younger children as client’s from low income families, child protective services (CPS), abused and mentally challenged. The client’s are in need of direction, staying calm and coping being out in society. The client’s are encouraged to stay focus and continue to be positive which has prevented any type of relapse. Administers the presentation center including video switches, large-screen projection of video and computer graphics, and classified video teleconferencing. Responsible for the WAN of the MDANet connections to five (5) tail sites and supports the JNIC in Colorado Springs. Researched and recommended software/hardware to enhance system capabilities. Traveled to other facilities to install hardware and software packages. From 1989-1994 classified as a Systems Analyst supporting AEGIS Division, responsible for software development, maintenance, database management, data vault management and data processing support on-site and remote sites.
