Profile
I am an individual with many talents. I love meeting different people and learning from them. I have a curious mind, always intrigued by the unknown, and fearless in adventure. I am confident and competent at what at what I do and can easily improvise. I have experience in drama, possess a great sense of humor and like to emit a positive aura. As an English teacher primarily, I do believe that I bring a pleasant ambiance to the classroom, fostering a comfortable and productive pedagogy for my students. I come with seven years of teaching experience, two of which were in Saudi Arabia. With a background in Psychology and having been involved in counselling, I am sensitive and well acquainted to learning anxieties and can assist students in navigating through and around learning barriers when and where they may arise.
My style of teaching is learner centered, very dynamic and complimented with various teaching aids and resources. I am a good swimmer too.

Achievements
At age 13, memorized the entire Koran.
At age 19, completed the ten modes of Koran recitation a.k.a. Qiraat Al-'Asharah
Professional Koran reciter in the style of Sheigh Mustafaa Ismaeel.
In the year 2011, I played the leading role in an epic play about the rich history of Islam in South Africa which boasted a packed stadium of 6000 spectators.
