MAINTENANCE/CONSTRUCTION - MANAGER
Responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance repair, upgrade, and preventive maintenance of all plant, mechanical and electrical equipment. Involved with prioritizing work requests, evaluating personnel, staffing, obtaining and qualifying vendors, research and implementation of alternative equipment and supplies and personnel training. Construction duties included the research, design, procurement, installation & testing of new production systems. Responsible for scoping and coordinating contractor supplied work, assessing bids, establishing milestones, and overseeing all contractor activities to insure adherence to contract requirements.
SENIOR MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT
Responsible for fabrication, installation, testing and turnover of piping, supports instrumentation and equipment; additional duties included attending weekly status meetings with clients and engineers, interfacing with client engineers regarding design changes and additional needs, tracking additional costs of labor, material and equipment beyond original contract scope; estimated additional work as requested, procurement of materials and supplies and insured all work was performed by qualified personnel within the guidelines of the corporate and client programs, as well as applicable codes and specifications.
SCOPER/PLANNER/SCHEDULER
Responsible for scoping and planning workable and closable ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Section III, and various NSSS equipment fabrication and installation work packages utilizing MS Word, Excel, Maximo, as well as Smart Plant Review, Smart Plant Mat, Bentley Navigator, Plant Pilot, and PDS MicroStation to define scope and sequence work based on work space and material availability. Insuring that Work Packages comply to the applicable code, the latest drawings/change papers, procedures, and specifications.
FIELD ENGINEER
Responsible for developing Work Packages, ensuring design documents are the current revision. coordinating and conducting pre-job briefs, initiating change papers as needed, and overseeing and verifying installations as well as work package closure.
DETAILER
Duties included layout and sketching of piping and tubing systems as well as high purity tubing systems to facilitate tool and equipment hook-up per client specifications and requirements. Additional responsibilities included overseeing fabrication and installation of aforementioned systems and drawing of "as built conditions" upon completion.
BUYER/SELLER AGENT - USED PROCESS EQUIPMENT
Opened and maintained Southeast regional office. Duties included locating process equipment, developing leads, addressing customer needs, inspection of customer available equipment, follow-up and coordination of buying and selling activities, and maintaining contact database.
TEST INSPECTOR / START-UP TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities included establishment and tagging of boundaries for hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, initiation of test reports, observation of testing activities and recording of test data. System check and walk down, insuring procedural compliance; insuring restoration of system to pre-test condition, initiation of deficiency reports, engineering change requests and punch list as needed. General system check-out to turn over to client.
GENERAL FOREMAN
Responsible for four pipefitter crews, coordinated work between crews and other crafts. Involved with planning and scheduling crews’ activities and monitoring productivity.
PIPE FOREMAN
Directly supervised five pipefitters, five welders, and one apprentice. Responsible for crew assignment and task completing, insuring procedural and specification compliance as well as safe working environment.
PIPEFITTER / PIPEWELDER
Involved in all aspects of layout fabrication, installation and testing of piping, supports and related equipment per job specifications and procedures. Involved with rework and preventative maintenance of existing systems.
