Al Bawani Company is one of the leading building construction companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Head office located in Riyadh. This company specializes in building design, engineering & construction etc. My responsibilities as Procurement officer in western region, Jeddah office as follows,

• Meeting with suppliers for price negotiation, coordinating with site engineers regarding material requisitions, specifications / sample approvals etc.

• Sending RFQs to suppliers for collecting quotations, preparing price comparisons, purchase orders and securing necessary approvals from the management and sending to suppliers etc.

• Follow-up deliveries with suppliers and final payments etc.


Purchasing Manager August 2013 to April 2016

The Boutique? Hotel & Suites is a 4 star hotel situated in Dubai Tecom Area, consist of 79 rooms including

Suites and 4 F&B outlets .and Night club+ Shisha garden etc.

• Closely worked with the procurement company of the owners (Aber Group) to ensure that right products in right quantity (OS&E & FF&E) were procured and delivered in time for the opening of the hotel, ensuring that all Brand Standards are met.

• Ensured that all major contracts (Premise Cleaning including construction cleaning, Staff & Guest Transportation, Hotel & Staff Accommodation, Garbage collection & Pest Control, Staff Meals etc.) were in place before the hotel opening.

• Took over the pending procurement from the owning company and ensured deliveries prior to opening.

• Recruited and trained the purchasing team of 2 and successfully implemented the purchasing system.

• Setup the purchasing policy & procedure in line with the company guide lines.

• General administration of the department, including continues monitoring, training and development of the team.

• In general, setting up of the Purchasing department and ensuring timely delivery of all goods and services prior and post opening of the hotel.


Purchasing Manager -Pre Opening Sept. 2012 - July 2013

Oasis Court Hotel Apartments is a deluxe hotel apartments belonging to Bin Zayed Group of companies, Dubai. The hotel consists of 128 Rooms, including Suites, Studio & 2 BR apartments etc.
