Project Non-Conventional Machining Techniques for Machining of Aerospace Hardware, DRDL- Hyderabad
Duration February 2019 to April 2019
Guide Professor Gopala Krishna
Due to the development of new material and increase in their mechanical properties it is very much difficult to machine such material through conventional machining process.
To overcome these problems non-conventional machining techniques have been developed over a period by using different energies in recent days. This has been taken a big role in the manufacturing industries.
The Non-conventional machining process is a special type of machining process in which there is no direct contact between the tool and the work piece.
In Non-conventional machining, a form of energy is used to remove unwanted material from a given work piece.
We focused on new materials like titanium, stainless steel and high temperature resistant alloys.
Machines used in Non-conventional machining process are
•Abrasive Water Jet Machining,
•Electrical Discharge Machining,
•Wire EDM
•EDM Drilling
Project Modelling of Lift System Conveyor, MRCET-Hyderabad Duration August 2018 to September 2018
Guide Professor Srikar
To allow quick and efficient transportation for a wide variety of materials, which made them very popular in material handling and packing industries.
Material handling equipment is used to increase output, control costs and maximize productivity.
The various methods used for material handling in vertical direction are inclined conveyor, lift, robots etc.
Lift conveyors are used to move material from one location to another
It is modelled in 3D modelling software NX 9.0. Unigraphics. Project Name Solar Powered Car, MIST-Hyderabad
Duration October 2015 to DECEMBER 2015
Guide Professor Jyothi
Solar cars are powered by electricity by the use of solar energy. Solar panels are attached to the surface (generally, the top) of the vehicle. Photovoltaic (PV) cells convert the Sun's energy directly into electrical energy.
