Instruct the Contractor’s engineer to submit representative sample of fine and coarse aggregates, cement, sub-grade material used for sub base course and embankment, reinforcing steel bars and beam & cylinder samples to be subjected for laboratory tests

Assists in deep cone penetrometer test during the start of the project and coring of samples after the completed road network

Laboratory works:

Assist in the different laboratory tests of the samples submitted by the contractor’s representative

Record and witness the laboratory results of the submitted samples and submit it to the materials engineer for evaluation if it is passed the DPWH Standards
