(Public Works Authority (PWA) Ashghal), 2013 to 2018 Lead multi-billion-dollar GEC Doha Local Roads and Drainage Programme Contract 2 (C2) in Doha, Qatar with +120 design and supervision projects for residential infrastructure upgrade and consultancy services of

+$160M.

Secure construction contract award by managing the development of designs and tenders within time and budget. Adhere to all quality standards and ensure completeness for project designs and records. Administer construction contract, develop programme schedule and ETC, prepare and update risk register, conduct impact assessment, and collaborate with concerned teams to finalise claims. Lead international multidisciplinary teams and increase engagement of Arcadis global excellence centers. Monitor projects by coordinating with site supervision teams and updating client on design activities by reporting, also formulate close out reports.

Team Leader {Ministry of Public Works (M.E.G.R)}, 2012 to 2013 Formulated design for optimisation of National Road Axis of Chalkida – Psachna – Istiaia –Edipsos (section from chainage 27+700 up to St. Anna’s Bypass).

Ensured project’s success through development of design and implementation study; reviewed calculations, drawings, and design models/documents to ensure quality, functionality, and accuracy of road design. Organised meetings with the ministry to provide updates on project progress and resolve queries/concerns. Evaluated tenders and developed detailed evaluation reports, inclusive of all five stages of evaluation. Assured effective resolution of tender queries and provided adequate response to questions on tender circulars. Analysed tender and formulated detailed tender analysis report, tender financial report, and provided recommendations for contract award.

Key Contribution:

Evaluated tender and identified a case of corruption within both tenders, timely updated senior management, resulting in the cancellation of tenders.

Exposed corruption, identified the leakage, and cancelled the tenders protecting MCC from wrongly awarding projects.

MORFI S.A, Greece and Romania

Director of Construction Department, 2008 to 2011

Steered numerous residential projects (villas) across Athens/Greece and Bucharest/Romania, managing all aspects of construction till the last interior details. Enforced control over construction management of luxury residential and commercial units while strictly adhering to budget of €32M. Audited the design to ascertain constructability, quality, fulfilled all contractual obligations, conducted quantity estimations, assured quality/cost control, and achieved profitable deals with Buyer – Clients.

Design & Project Management Director, {Ministry of Public Works (M.E.G.R)}, 2007 to 2008 Managed the implementation design and Tender Documents for the National Road Schimatari – Chalkida, a 9.2 km dual carriageway expressway, with service roads (12 km), 2 interchanges, street light, road signs and markings, signalling, 16 overpasses and underpasses. DHV - ADO J.V, Romania

Team Leader / Road Expert, 2006 to 2007

Headed project for designing, tendering and constructing motorway (TEN) to bypass the towns of Deva and Orastie on the route of National Road 7 in mid-western area of Romania. Construction Budget: €140M. Designed 32,8km four lane motorway; reviewed and updated existing design, including desk study and initial review, standards, field investigations, maintenance plan, execution of IFC drawings, design of communications system, and design for relocation of utilities. Coordinated design teams from three countries, to achieve the best result for project. Prepared Inception, Interim and road design execution reports. Assisted the Client (RNCMNR) with all EU/ISPA demands and procedure application. Key Contribution:

The design met all the contractual agreement’s milestones and delivered as promised.

Senior Highway Engineer, (LAMDA DEVELOPMENT) 2005 to 2006 Headed the project for preliminary Design for the creation in the existing Olympic radio-television center

(IBC) of a new shopping center “GOLDEN HALL” on Kifissias street, and managed the project for elaboration of traffic design for the commercial and recreational center of Maroussi “ATHENS MALL”, Athens, Greece Provided, on both projects, design coordination, assured seamless communication with all shareholders and the sponsor, led project management of the contract and supervised the onsite implementation.
